Have you ever *almost* died?

I've almost died 2 times such as almost getting run over by a car (twice)...
Once when I was running to my house when I was a kid, a car stopped barely cm's away from me, and another when I got off a bus a few weeks ago, and I carelessly walked and almost got hit by a car driving at 50km/h.. ;o

geez if you died i could save a minute of my life by not reading this

I nearly drowned once. I was tipi-toeing in the deep water when all of a sudden i fell of a sand ledge, I couldn't swim so i panicked and started to choke on water and shit. Luckily i remembered that if you relax in water you'll sorta float'n shit so i managed to calm myself and i floated on da waters until help arrived. 
I sorta had a 1 year long beach phobia after that.

Another time i stuck a knife in de'toasters but i survived :)

Once I fell a pretty good distance and cracked my skull open.

I did something like that too. Head surgery ftw. I also got an infection in my eye once, and when I unwillingly went to the hospital that night at 2am the doctor said it was a good thing I did. It was headed for my brain and would have killed me in a day or two. They fixed it easily enough, but it was freaky knowing if I just ignored it as "oh it's just swollen" I might not be here on 4chan today.

Now THAT would be sad.
