On UK tv theres this programme called deal or no deal

long story short, some woman went on, obviously for the money under the guise i wanna win the 250,000, she was doing great, refused 2 of the bankers offers
(banker offers the playing money to like quit while theyre ahead.. she let herself get seduced, refused first time, accepted and tried to haggle with the banker)

anyways.. she was down to 5 or so boxes and was about to win pretty much when i said about the call, she haggled and got 29,000 and said shed accept

the presenters like, you like yourself be taken in by the banker etc.. and if you had held on for longer you would of got more.. blah.. etc

so the woman was like crying and stuff, and her friends, and everyone in the audience was too

anyways they went on to the remaining boxes and did a what if, like she gave her choices, and guess what?

she would of won 250,000 pounds like 500,000 dollars, but instead she was greedy and tried haggling but

if she had held on for another box or 2 the banker would of offered her 162,000 pounds

what a retard lol

moral of the story to avoid tldr

woman goes on tv show, has a 97 percent chance of winning the grand prize, was offered 27,000 pounds to "give up" haggled to 29,000, failed to realise she would get 8 times this if she stayed and played a few more boxes, and eventually the grand prize
