The black kid

One day I decided to ask my four year old cousin why black people are black. A little backstory, this kid is cute as hell and for some reason he cusses A LOT and doesn't get disciplined for it. I think it's because he's so damn cute that we give him so much leeway. In any case, we're outside and I'm watching him take shots on the basketball hoop, and I pop the question to him as if I do not know the answer, as if I am genuinely baffled as to why black people are black and only he could possibly have the answer. He very matter-of-factly double dribbles a few times and gives me this:

"Black people are black because they shit a lot. They have a lot of black shit in them. And also they like to dance and kiss each other on lips. (??) And they play basketball (he holds up his basketball at this point) and shoot each other with guns. I'm want to be black."
