this would apply to cosplay in general too. i mean good cosplaying kind of goes hand in hand with rabid otaku. it's a win/lose situation.

I have rarely seen 'good' cosplay. Mainly because
1) The majority are guys and alot of them crossdress
2) The majority of female anime fans - especially the female otakus - are fat and ugly. Literally.

At Penny Arcade Expo, there were about a dozen chicks dressed up as maids, and they were all pretty awesome.  And hot.

If they're hot what do you care? You just wanna bang em anyways, which probably won't happen, or if it does might get you party vanned.
