gawd, i really want to participate. i did a bit last year but it fizzled out quickly. i might try again this year even if it will coincide with an exam. i want at least one shitty amateur novel under my belt.. better than nothing!

i just read their web site. it sounds like a fun idea, but i don't think i could see myself participating.
maybe a timed short story writing contest would be a good idea. like have people vote on the best and publish the results on a web site.

yeah that's an idea. the thing is to have lots of people participating because it makes it feel like more of an event.
