According to one school of thought, Genesis makes much more sense if you assume that the apple was a complete bullshit story, and that Eve cheated on Adam by fucking the serpent, thus giving birth to Cain and his family.

Which brings up the question: do you believe that you personally are descended from the Serpent and Cain, or from Adam's bloodline?  With Cain's line, of course, embodying treachery and murder.
