Abusive mother

If your mother was an abusive monster while you were growing up and dependent on her, would you forgive her now you are an adult? She is still a nut case that never got help and still thinks it is "everyone else". This is a person with a hair trigger temper who would beat her kids to the ground almost every day until we were old enough to leave home/run away. I will never forgive this lunatic. Never. Anyone else?
