I've recently (last month or so) started to sweat quite profusely at nights. Only at nights really as I've lost A LOT of weight in the last year (about 90kg) and have been running an hour a day and doing weights about 40min so I'm fairly fit really. I don't sweat during the day (any more than you'd expect) so this is quite strange to me.
It's fairly cold now (being winter) but even still I've tried wearing light bed clothing and just a t-shirt and shorts and I will still sweat. The worst it's been is in Dunsborough I wore some track pants and a tshirt to bed as well as a light doona and I ended up sweating through the pants and shirt and the couch (so wasn't a heavy mattress) was wet for hours after.
I did a bit of a search on Google and cancer came up a few times... I might give the doctor a call tomrorow but it just seems silly to go "I'm sweating doc, what do you think it is?" ...
Any ideas? Any more questions? I feel very well, very fit, lots of energy... I'm the fittest I've been for many years.
Issues.
About 6 months ago I had a bad stomach but that was fixed with some acid reduction tablets. Off the meds now for about 4 months and all has been well.
I have an abdonminal hernia but it's under control. I run and do weights without much issue if any.
I eat well I think. Mostly very little processed food, very little meat, lots of beans, pasta, milk, oats, weet bix, yoghurt, powdered egg white, tuna, brown rice, multigrain bread... that's basically 90% of what I eat.
So any ideas? Shoudl I really ring the doc with something like this??? Feels silly... but then am I just being a guy. :P
