Booze for Japan

Japanese customs allows me 3 bottles of booze.

I'll be there for a while so, what should I take?
I've been told scotch is rare/expensive in Japan.  Anything else?

Bullshit. Unless you buy shitty domestic liquor, Japan's prices are always more expensive.
