burnt my hand

hey, i just burnt my hand by being a dumbass and spilling a pan of boiling water, im living in a foreign land and not on health insurance right now so i am kind of worried about getting an infection if it can even happen. My hand just hurts a little should I treat it with any thing?

I whistled for a cab and when it came near

If anything I could say that this cab was rare

pulled up to a house about seven or eight

the cabby "yo, home smell you later"
Looked at my kingdom I
was finally there
To settle my throne as the prince of

Just keep neosporin and band aids on it.

I got third degree burns all down my arm from boiling water, and that fixed it up right proper.

But I usually heal pretty fast compared to other people anyway...

dont use creams. just keep it in cold running water. bandage. use aloe vera when it has healed

Trust me; use neosporin (or equivalent) like burn gel.  Get that kind with a pain relieve included...  works wonders.  Bandage it if you need to.

The absolute WORST thing that can happen to a burn is infection.  That can cause huge problems. If it gets infected, you can get huge fucking scars, or maybe even a permanent loss of sensation in the affected area.  It can possibly, depending on your sanitary condition, spread to flesh and bone...  and that would be fucking horrible.

The only thing that a state of the art medical clinic in the U.S. would be able to help you with that you couldn't do yourself (somewhat) is prevent scarring.  Do you care enough to seek one out, Mr. Traveller?
