Greatest movie ever!!!

I was looking around the Internet movie data base and came to this movie released over in japan around 2000. Here is a link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266308/. The movie is called battle royal and the concept is amazing. I haven't seen the movie but it looks great. Has any one seen It? I was wondering if its good before I got it. I was thinking about getting the book first so that I can know what the movie cut out.

But what would you do if you were in that position? Would you kill your friends just to win the battle or die trying to get out with them alive? If you killed your friends to get out could you live with your self knowing that they died by your hands? Or would you rally together and try to take on the controllers even though they have control over you.

Personally I would rally with my friends and try to find a way to get every one out of there but would I get betrayed that is the question?

the movie turns it into a slasher flick, no offense on the film though, i love it. But the book, as is the usual case, is far superior. You get to know the characters before they are brutally killed off.

Look at it this way, when they come after all of you, there's more targets if you're in a group. Your chances are better to make it out alive if you stick together.

I'd go psycho, but only so that I could live to topple the totalitarian system and implement a democratic-libertarian government. Means and ends you see.
