About Canada

My family has been talking about moving to Canada, we currently live in the deep south of Georgia and want to get away from the sweaty southern heat, swarming mosquitos and stupid niggers (yes the niggers down here are extremely stupid, I went to Checkers yesterday and ordered a cheeseburger and that stupid black bitch asked did i want cheese on it "Heres your sign").

Anyway I was just wondering what to expect. Is it any different than the US? My main concern is how do they treat gays there, since I'm a homosexual and I'm treated like shit down here.

Canada has laws that prevent the making fun of gays. But the population up there is about 40% black as well, since thats where all the slaves escaped to.

On the whole there is less religious power in government, so from the legal point of view gays are treated relatively fine.  Adults are generally easy going, but among millions of people there are always jerks.  If you are still in high school, I can't really predict what sort of environment you'd face.

The weather varies a lot across the country.  Vancouver is pretty mild with early spring, rare snow.  Toronto is hot and humid in the summer, cold enough for snow in the winter.  Alberta is fairly dry, and with warmish periods in the winter depending how south you are.

I used to live in Canada, the population is full of asians who pretend to be black. After a few years living there you notice that everything is dull and boring, all poeple talk about is themselves, and they just keep talking and talking not giving a shit about anything that you do.

Come to Nova Scotia. There's barely any blacks over here. I've only seen about 1 or 2 with a job in my area and that was in McDonald's. The weather is balanced but unexpected.

Pictou County, my area in NS is overrun with old people that have a tendency to be the kind of religious folk that frown upon homosexuals. You might not like how it's made for them (it's boring and we celebrate lobster and fishing for Christ's sake). Not that big of a deal, they're nice and about to kick the bucket anyway.

It's not that different here, I moved here from the US myself. The only differences I can think of are easy to get used to.

I doubt that the deep south can breed anything but stupidity, regardless of colour.

How is the bug problem there? Thats another concern of mine, down here theres nasty fireants, swarms of mosquitos and kitchen ants plague my countertops if I even so much pour myself a cup of coffee. The insects seem to only disappear once the temprature drops to around 55*f.

When it's a frozen winter, there's no bugs at all.  But sometimes I find a little spider in the house in the winter, weird.  In the summer, you get bugs.  Some places get mosquitos really bad especially if it's a town in the woods, and blackflies.

Anyway whats the cost of living in Canada? Here you have to be making like $1200-$1500 a month just to get by while still having some money to stuff into a small savings account. Yet most jobs only pay minimum wage and you're luck if you make $750-$800 a month. Down here in the redneckland the only jobs available are either in retail or burger flipping.

The bags aren't all over Canada.  You could see Tetrapaks, cartons, or jugs.  The cost of living varies all over the place.  Biggest city cores being more expensive, as well as the oil boom town Fort McMurray in Alberta.
