banned from #4chan, just tell me why

Hey, I posted a link to Ebaum's world in #4chan and got kicked.
I don't want to get unbanned, if I did something wrong I can stand the punishment.  I just want to know why that's a bad thing.  I've seen some of the grossest vore, hentai, real life herm porn, furry & other low quality /b/ related stuff posted in there all day long but with a link to ebaum there's harsh punishment.  Why is that such a mortal sin?  Ebaum filled with spyware or something?  I'm never there alot in the first place, so I'm not familiar with the channel much, didn't seem to be any rules except don't piss off the mods which was one of the last things I had planned to do.  So what's the mortal sin?  Not looking for a chance at redemption, just understanding

I don't go to wikipedia for most things, but after you pointed that out and I checked out Wiki's entry for Ebaum it looks like it's a really really hated website that steals even from 4chan huh?  Damn, wish I'd known sooner.  Thanks for clearing that up for me anonymous

you should go to wikipedia. wikipedia knows everything.

It is pretty interesting how hated Ebaumsworld is. I fully understand why though.

Also, I participated in the Ebaum war a few months ago. Pinging the site for days... ah, those were the times.
