Me neither, until recently (hence the thread). My friends have only just stumbled upon things like YTMND and one of them said "Giff" something to me (I was too weirded out by his pronounciation that I didn't really listen to the rest).

Seemed obvious to me that it was jiff. Like Cif used to be.

I thought J workd like Jelly had a J sound, where as Goat had a distinctivly different one.

So, I would say it like goat, gif.

Gif->Giff and PNG->Ping. Also, PNG->Superior file format.
