Compress MP3 > make flash?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-02 2:07

Hi guys, I'm just wondering what everybody uses to compress an MP3 and then make it into a blank flash file. I see them here on 4chan sometimes and some other sites around here. Is there a simple program that does stuff for flash? What I basically want to do is compress an MP3 in decent quality, and I've heard ones that are 32kbit and still sound good. And then I'd like to make it into a flash file.

I don't want the whole shebang of those huge flash programs, just something straightforward if possible. I'm betting you guys know how to do this.

Ah, Super, I've heard of that. It's odd though, the download page doesn't work in Firefox. And it lists these as minimum requirements:

The following minimum configuration is required to run SUPER©

At least 1800 MHz Intel® Pentium4 processor
512MB of RAM or more.
20GB of free Hard disk space or more.
1024 x 768 video resolution or larger.

Is that right? It says 20 gigabytes. Programs can't be THAT big. And I don't have 512megs of ram, nor a P4 sadly. Is anyone else using Super with an older computer or am I screwed? I found this other program that converts MP3s directly to a flash file, but it's limited to 10 days. In case anyone else wants to try it too while I figure out Super, it's called SWF Sound Automation and it's simple and quick.

Don't change these.
