So I went to make some pasta tonight, and I found what I think were weevils in my bowl.
"Eeeeeeeew!" I squealed like a little girl. "Vile beasts, get back!"
I checked the container I store my pasta in and they're crawling around in the bottom of it too. "How the hell did they get into a sealed container?"
Luckily I could only fit half of my pasta in the container when I opened it; the rest was stored in the rolled up packet in the fridge. I pulled it out and what's in the bottom? WEEEEEVILS!
So these weevils have infiltrated both my top secret pasta container, as well as a secure plastic wrapping facility hidden inside my fridge. I'm not so sure that's even possible, but I don't know weevils as well as you might. So what I'm asking is this: Is it likely that these critters were already in the packet when I opened it? Or did they get into my pasta container and fridge on their own?
