I keep lurking and can't figure it out.

a get is when they reach a certain number of posts. I don't really understand what the big deal is about it.. apparently obsessed 4chan people actually care. but anyway.. so the 1 millionth get will be when they reach 1 million posts, etc.

Also... I am using the HTTP GET method to view this board, put things are posted using the POST method, but it's still #GET for some reason.

It means you increased your post count and get to have bragging rights over what number your post landed on, as it shows in your profile.
