the discussion boards (their the blue colored ones) are usually filled with fairly intelligent conversations.

i'm a decent, nice people.  but i'm scared of posting because mean people make fun of me. :(

you're not going to find them on /a/ /b/ the hentai boards /gif/ /s/ /r/ /t/ /v/ /w/ and the drawing boards. the rest of 4chan is relatively ok.
