i think the ideal man is one that never goes out, shuns parties and camps out on the internet. an outcast, outsider, alienated individual. spends christmas and new years alone in his room with a favourite dvd. but he is not bitter, he simply refuses to play the social game..

There is actually a middle ground.  People who have good social habbits, but aren't trying to, "be somebody."  People who also enjoy playing video games and doing other nerdy things.

No one should ever aspire to be either of the things >>1-5 mentioned.
Living in your room and refusing to interact with people is unhealthy and provides your with no life experience and no real memories.
Being a social whore is a busy, expensive life that's all flash with no bang, and in most cases very harmful to your liver.
