Has it ever occurred to you that shit that gets copypasta'd/meme'd is good enough NOT to be bumped to page 4? OC is only OC for so long, and anything will die unless it's, well, copypasta'd or is good enough to be bumped repeatedly. I wasn't around /b/ 2 years ago, but I'm pretty sure that similar dynamics applied. Your copypasta was fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say this cab was rare, but I thought "Nah forget it, yo holmes to Bel-Air!" Thats what was great about /dis/, it was like /b, but a /b you could keep track of. B has too many people now, like 1 thread in /b is as full of people as 1 section of 4chan.
the last time i was there they had 8 flash movies on it, and they were only teletubbie sex and that ufo game.

It really seems that /b/ spilled out onto the other boards, /a/ and /v/ in particular.
Every thread in /a/ about Haruhi reeks of b-tards. And half of the other threads are about being gay for Archer.

you're not listening. i'm not saying that the /b/ of a year or two back operated by different paradigms, i'm saying that back then A GREATER AMOUNT of quality shit got coverage because it was as QUICKLY bumped in favour of crap.

I think people still need to remember that the internet is still growing. There are tens of millions more people online now then there was when 4chan started. More teens on the internet, plus 4chans obvious exposure and not being secret in any way, has lead to this.
