biology tells us we should find a partner, society tells us marriage is the ideal arrangement and the normal thing to do. but we should band together, as solitary brethren who cannot be bothered to partner up with someone for the sake of image. as well adjusted people who are already reasonably happy living simple lives, without concerning ourselves with the dramas of intense emotion.

I wish I could rid myself of my sex drive and the need for intimacy. They serve no purpose other then to remind me of the cruelness of nature and how the evolutionary process can be quite uncomfortable to some individual members of a species.
