the /b/T block...is this truth?

There was a post on /b/ last night about the UK ISP BT blocking /b/ - which scarily enough does seem to be true. Clicking /b/ from the sidemenu results in a 404. Yet typing the link without /imgboard.html?/ at the end works fine.

Anyone know if this shit is REALLY true? Can I get partyvanned in the UK for entering /b/?

I've got the same problem, though I can't see any information about it on the BT broadband site (not that they put any information out back when they started with the transparent proxy either).
