Are people born with souls, or do they acquire them through living life and experiencing new things?

The be serious, people don't have "souls". Our consciousness is dependant on our brains, and when we die, our consciousness dies with us.

If there is such a thing as a "soul", things do not get a soul from being alive.  Either the entire universe has a "soul", or nothing does.
