Can someone explain furry-ism to me?

I just don't understand what could possibly be sexually appealing. Pedophilism makes sense, because although it's a warped sexuality it's focused on human beings. (I'm not a pedo, btw.) But furry-ism goes against nature. We are not genetically programmed to want to fuck animals or people who look like animals--we are programmed to want to fuck human beings.

Someone explain.

I think that those who like furry are not attracted to the fact that the subjects used are animals, rather, the fact that furry provides a conduit to explore a kind of "new" and "fresh" variety of counter-cultural pornography -especially if the characters are made to look identical to humans. And in almost all furry, this is the case; that there are clear human traits in terms of intercourse and how it is done. For example, I don't think that dogs sleep in beds. The fact that the characters act human is enough for some, although weak a connection it may be.
