Why were the letter codes for the boards (e.g. /a/, /b/, etc.) removed from the menu on the left hand side? These were helpful as a reminder what the letters stood for. Otherwise it's hard to remember what the letter code links at the top and bottom of the pages on the right hand side (when you're actually reading a board) stand for.

Moot has contracted monopomicrosoftosis, whereby there is so little competition and motivation there is no longer an incentive to be logical.

Agreed, I have a hard time finding the boards I'm looking for because they're ordered by letter codes, but then those aren't shown....

Thanks for bringing them back. But I think showing the directory codes, not hiding them, should be the default setting. A newb visiting 4chan for the first time needs the letter code reminders the most, while a long-time /b/-tard who probably knows all the board letters by heart can turn them off if she wants.

Why in the world would a new user (or anyone, for that matter) care about the directories? No-one does on 2chan.

Listen to 18, he's right! I clicked it and now I'm banned from posting to this board forever. And Moot came over personally to my place and gave my dog a "bone", if you know what I mean.
