What state should I settle down in?

Seattle has a volcano-earthquake waiting to activate
California has the San Andreas fault
Florida has random hurricanes
New Orleans has random hurricanes
New York will most likely get attacked in war
Everywhere else is boring, desolate, or cold.

I'm thinking of somewhere in New England.  All the writers hang out there.  How is Maine?
