The plot is that some random emo schooldgirls are fighting over who gets to nervously contemplate dating an introverted nerd, while Fred goes off on tangents that make perfect sense in his mind and puts them out for the whole world to scratch their heads at. They usually involve drawing his usual characters in situations totally outside the story, knee deep in some other plot that he developed without telling anyone.
