I just had a guest go off on me because his 20 dollar gratuity was taxed and he wanted me to give him a refund for the dollar and change.

When I worked at a gas station some guy started pounding on the counter because I couldn't accept his 50 cent discount coupon for a carwash.

We didn't even have that kind of carwash there.

You got off light. Most costomers where I work get pissed off that they are taxed at all. About 3 people a week walk out with out buying anything, because they were either too stupid to relise that things are being taxed and only brought exactly $3.99 or because they're to stupid to relise that things are taxed and think that if they go across that street maybe those people won't charge them tax.

I call these people "the ones who will die die first when I rule the world." I intend to pass laws when I rule the world that will make it so that tax is included in listed prices. But I will still kill these people.

These people screwing with you most likely worked in customer service at one time. You work shit jobs like this so you learn how to get what you want. Unless you're a giant pussy, then you should remain put.

Of course, what you "want" is the big question, such as the fellow at 2's gas station. You won't get anywhere going to a Best Buy demanding a spaceship to take you to Africa.
