It's a chat log between an online predator and someone posing as a 13 year old girl to entrap him. The log reveals that man is simply... evil. I felt such an utter revulsion towards this person, an absolute disgust at the fact that he is a human being, just like me.

Eh, the 'girl' in the chatlog opens up and admits to being abused by her father, and the man uses this to seemingly manipulate her. Just skim the log, it's pretty self-evident.

Well, it depends on if you convinced them to blow up a building, or just showed them the opportunity and then they chose to accept it. If they made the offer, then they certainly belong in jail. But in my opinion, even if they were easily convinced to kill many people (or have sex with a minor) then really that only shows they are not safe in society.
