Did I narc? (DRUGS and REVENGE in here)

What the hell does "narc" mean?  I can't figure it out.

So, last year on my high school senior class trip... never mind, I'll get right to the point.  We were in the hotel, and the guys in the next room over were smoking pot.  I hate them, so I called the cops.  It was funny, they came over as undercover dealers (so fucking obvious to me they were undercover cops) and talked with me in the hallway of the motel, outside the other guys' room.  So then they knocked there (I was in my room listening as best I could) and eventually bused them.  Suckers spent a night in jail. 

HA HA HA.  He he laughs last laughs best. 

But yeah, is that called "narcing?"

Interesting.  It seems there is a strong devide of those who support and those who do not.

Actually, I, too, would be interested in what this "code of the streets" is.  Especially since we were hardly on the "street," instead living in suburbia.

As for what they did, does it matter?  What if they had beat me up, stolen my books, and destroyed my class projects?  Or maybe, they were just plain jerks, making fun of me, pushing me out of their clique.  Does it matter?  They had numbers against me; all I had was myself.  Consider it standard high-school mockery and abuse.  Nothing too bad, just enough to create a good supply of animosity.

This was done in high school.  I'm past it now.  I just wanted to know if I "narc"ed, which I guess I did.  Validate their treatment?  Hardly, that was the first and last time I ever did anything to them, and it was after almost four years.  Not that I'm particularly concerned with "right" and "wrong."

Did I do it because I wanted revenge?  Not really.  Revenge made them a practical target.  I simply wanted to know what it was like to see them squirm and feel defeated, powerless against something they couldn't stop.  They were, if you will, rats in my cage, playthings to do with as I please and toss aside when I had no more use for them.
