My Horse Died Yesterday

My old Arabian horse, Jimmy (34 yrs old), fell yesterday and never got up. He was a fine steed in his day. My other horse-Raven, a voluptuous black 9 year old mare is very sad. She stands by Jimmy's feed dish with her head down. She will not go into the pasture. This makes me almost cry. She watched the vet giving the injection and licked Jimmy's feet as he died. She wants to nuzzle all the time. I will try to find another horse for her.
