I'd keep calling this girl to ask her out, but she would never be around to answer (even though she gave me her number first and is friendly as ever whenever I see her). so tonight I finally leave a message asking what's up, saying I don't really want to keep calling and come off as desperate or something...
...but I take too long and get cut off. so I panic and don't do anything and of course she never calls back. I felt like leaving a shorter message tomorrow, a self-deprecating thing like "hey did you get my message where I get cut off and humiliate myself? it's awesome. later." but right now I feel too shitty about it and will probably just wait till I see her in person again.
