Helping a Friend..

Hey 4chan.

I don't mean to be all too dramatic here but I would like some advice or suggestions on what to do.  See, one of my best friends I've known has lived a pretty bad life.  His mom's a crackhead(or became a crackhead after many different drugs) suffering from Emphysema, dad living off in Pennsylvania, and his sisters are both on meth, cocaine, and whatever drugs you could think of. He lives with his mom right now in a low-income apartment is now suffering from a bleeding ulcer.  I was going to help him get out of town away many states to Kansas where a friend of his has agreed to take him in but.. With him mom refusing to help and family unable to, I don't see any way to help him.. Anyone got any ideas? Again, sorry for being in any way dramatic.

Depends on how old he is. Claiming that it's for his health won't make a difference either.

I'm not sure what to do, but if he's old enough he can sneak away I assume. A friend of mine moved a few states over to get away from her boyfriend who put her in the hospital on at least  one occasion.

Parents are not likely to let go, despite how shitty they treat their kids, so I don't know how to get around that, sorry. Keep asking around though.
