AvPD is the difference between making conversations (extroverted), having a conversation if someone else starts it (introverted) and being scared of conversations or the fact someone may start one (AvPD)

I don't have AvPD, I just hate people for the most part.

Anyway, for the topic starter I'm sure there are drugs for AvPD, if there aren't then just take drugs for something else. If you're too stoned to think clearly you wont be afraid of people anymore.

The last few years there were quite a few people I wanted to make friends with... and yet here I am, still friendless. ...IRL, that is.

I *guess* I have a few friends online... but even then, I've rejected meeting the ones that wanted to meet me IRL.

It's mostly fear of being rejected or that they won't understand me.

...I sort of feel thankful for message boards like this. They let me know that I'm not alone in being a loser. :p
