Getting your bike stolen and stealing bikes

Ever had your bike stolen? What did you do about it? Did you get it back?

Ever stole a bike? How did it feel? How does it feel now?

two black guys tried to steal my bike and they almost got it.  but I was all like 'no fuck you' and hung on to it (they didn't use any weapons, so I just hung onto it.)  They got my wallet though.
Seriously.

No, I would never steal a bike.  Stealing bikes is not much better than rape, because it adds insult to injury.  Many folks who are riding bikes are already chumpish enough not to be able to have a car, and if you're far away and your bike's been taken, it's a real "fuck you, God" moment.
