Most of the society is trash. The people experiencing these difficulties in this thread are admirable individuals who stand well above the scum, so they feel strange and alone when they're just being sincere and logic. I feel for them. I used to be one of them, and I still am, with the difference I've learnt to deal with it.
The only way out is to not give a damn for women, at least not for those unworthy of people like us. To those guys I can say: learn to be happy by yourself; you have the gifts of intelligence and individualism, being alone is the price you pay.
That girl you love who would never think of you as a lover, and will go for the "alpha male" (read: motherfucking crack smoking jerk) only to cry on your shoulders when he beats/rapes/dumps her: she's not worth it. Forget her, she's unworthy of a special person like you. If you're feeling particularly merciful, be her friend - but never attempt to be her lover; you're a different kind of people, and unfortunately, we don't mix.
Aim for the legendary girl-like-us. She is our holy grail. And like the holy grail, whether she exists or not is not important; the search for her is. Do not despair, and do not fall for commoners.
