I can never know why is it you cannot get to know the person FIRST before going on a date. It keeps being suggested that if you meet a girl you like, you immediatly go to her and ask her out on a date. Instead of like getting to know her as friend and work from there. Because mostly if you try to get to know her as a friend, there is always the possibility u end up being in the friend pile.
