G4 - The worst station on television?

Honestly i think G4tv has to be the worst station that has ever broadcasted television. First they buy up techtv and keep the shows, act all good and normal while changing a few things, nothing big. Then they completly rip the shows apart change them and finally change there name from G4Techtv to G4tv again. If you go to there forums and talk about attack of the show (screensavers) and give any kind of off topic remark that has nothing to with G4 the'll delete your post, talk about kevin (the kid who left AOTS) they'll delete your post, they dont take critism well and delete any post that sais a show isnt very good or sucks completly. They turned a station that had to do with technology and games into a station that has to do with Sex, Violence, and very little technology and games. Personally i wish G4tv would just go out of business.

IMHO, I thought the G4 merger would suck, but being in Canada, I'd only heard of it from the net. It seemed that the best of what they kept from TechTV only got better now that it was less restricted and stiff (X-Play, Screen Savers), and most of the stuff they tossed (Dave Chalk, Call for Help (though we got a low-budget version in Canada)) I didn't miss, though Gadgets and Gizmos was a sad replacement for Fresh Gear, and I did like Tech Live, but a bit of it came back for "the feed" on AOTS.

For a while there when they had Kevin hosting, I think AOTS was the best they'd ever done on that station, though whatever you think of Dvorak, Silicon Spin was fun back in the day... Now, I don't watch anything on there anymore, so I guess I can't really argue with your stance currently. :(

(And FWIW, yeah, while the G4ification hit the old TechTV shows in a nice way, the shows they carried over from G4 REALLY sucked!)

Screen Savers use to be good on G4 until they kept changing hosts.  X-Play is still good, but for how long...

I HATE Judgement Day.. I really dislike the hosts for that show! That Tommy dude will NOT rate any game higher than a 5, if it doesn't have sex, violence, or SUPER Graphics!.. for god sakes he gave Katamari Damacy, a 5! Not only that, but Judgement Day rated Big Mutha Truckers 2 a 7 and an 8... wtf 7 and an 8..... That's horrible!

THey took away almost everything I loved about Techtv, Call Or Help,Tech Live, Screen Savers, and Leo Laporte and replaced most of it with crap.

And now, they cut Anime Unleashed back to once a week, while filling the block with crap like Barbed Wire Biscut. The only things that I watch on the channel now are Xplay, Anime Unleashed and Fastlane.

Don't watch it then.  I know I don't.

If a system of hundreds of channels has no room for what people might call "boring channels" that I like, then what the fuck.  There used to be more unique channels a few years ago with some sort of them, now they are all US network reruns channels.  AND WHY THE FUCK DOES THE HISTORY CHANNEL IN CANADA RUN CSI christ at a certain time of the day, every different CSI show is on at the same time somewhere in the channels.

I'd watch the London CCTV channel if they had it.

I hate marijuana users.

I hate them with every fiber in my being. I hate them more than anything else in this world. I have more hate for them than anyone who has hate for something and I assume the rest of my Straight Edge brethren would sympathize with me.

Why do I hate them?

-They are breaking the law.
-They are using a substance that is more cancer-causing than tobacco and more harmful to the brain than alcohol.
-They make up bullshit lies about marijuana being a relatively safe substance and being useful for medicinal purposes despite the fact that there are tons of studies proving otherwise.
-They are influencing the mass media and our culture into condemning anyone who doesn't do drugs and glamourizing this poisonous deliriant of a drug.
-They verbally harass and condemn everyone who doesn't smoke weed.

I would also like to make clear that everyone who thinks weed should be legalized is a pot smoker. And I'm sure none of you Straight Edgers associate with anyone who smokes weed. Thanks for understanding where I'm coming from.
