The number of confirmed dead in the tsunami
disaster has been over 120,000. The worst-hit
nation, Indonesia reports 79,000 have been confirmed
dead.
I think there are a lot of earthquakes everywhere in the

4-ch.net and world4ch.org were made by different people. Their history is pretty complex, but basically there are two groups of people who moderate the two websites.
Also, you should say "2channel" rather than 2-chan, because most Americans associate 2chan with Futaba Channel (2chan.net).

According to an article I read this morning,
the number of the newborn babies has been sharply
decreasing in Japan, and in 2500 it will be less
than 10 million, which is one-tenth of the present
population.
What will become of Japan in the future?
Maybe a lot of people all over the world will come to
Japan, and Japan will be an international nation.
It may change for the better. Now it's very difficult
for people from other countries to live in Japan,
because Japan is a homogeneous nation and people
don't get used to accepting people from other
countries as they are.

The death toll caused by the huge tsunami is now over
150,000 people.
Mad cow diseases, Chicken influenza, Sars. What will

By the way, "tsunami" is a Japanese word.
That means English-speaking people don't have the

We are blessed with fine weather even on the second
of the New Year. Now I'm going to a shrine,
where about one million people pay a visit. Maybe
I have to wait for the gate to open more than two
hours. Because people cannot enter the shrine at
the same time. People are divided to enter the
shrine. We have to wait for our turn to enter.
I don't like waiting, but I love looking around more
than 100 small shops in the shrine which have been
temporarily made for some days.
I want to drink sake at a stand and enjoy New Year's

I ate curry. Curry is one of the most popular dishes
in India and Japan. I have never met a person who
doesn't like curry in Japan. Maybe Indian and
Japanese have the same sense of taste.
Even on English boards many people can write only
few shitty words. I think it's much better to express
one's opinions or to vent one's feelings than to
write meaningless words. I suppose they have neither
opinions nor feelings. Especially young people play
computer or video games too much, and they have lost
many things.

There is a strange clerk in our English conversation
school. He loves studying English, and passed the
pre-first grade of English Proficiency Test. But he
always avoids talking with English teachers. Even if
some English teachers ask him for help, he always
says, "I'm busy now", and never tries to help them.
I'm wondering what he is studying English for.
In Japan there are a lot of English learners like him
who fundamentally lack in communication skills.
It's no wonder that the clerk is almost 40, but is still
single.
The most important thing for him is to build up his
character. Such people do more harm than good, like
trollers on the boards.
If you want to come to Japan, be careful.
I have no experience with curry. It seems that in some ways, I have lived quite a deprived life so far. :(

Why can't grown-up people master a foreign language?
Children can imitate any sound, but this gift of
imitation lasts only a number of years.
A child who is under ten can learn any language
perfectly, if it is brought up surrounded by that
language. But after this age the ability to imitate
perfectly becomes less. And grown-up people can
never imitate the sounds of a foreign language
perfectly. But why?
When we are grown up, the habits of our own
language are so firm that they are very difficult to
break. So our native language won't let us learn
a new language.

Your question is pretty much about the brain's phsyical properties. From birth to age 4 the brain makes literally trillions of neuron connections, absorbing almost all information it receives from the senses. This slows down through childhood and by adulthood all of the brain's functions have been created. That's not to say the brain ever stops making neuron connections, though. Additional languages can be learned as an adult but it requires much more effort because so much information is already in place.

I think world4ch is a little more popular than 4-ch net I'm curious to know what kind of message board can attract people most? It is said that the biggest message board is now Japanese 2-ch. But I think about 70% of messages in 2-chan are meaningless. It would be less than 30% that can be useful for people. But I think if we exclude all shitty messages, the message board won't be able to expand. But on the other hand, only meaningless messages will totally destroy the message board sooner or later. The ration of good messages to meaningless messages will be very important for the message board to survive. It will be interesting to research this ratio. I think 5:5 will be the best for the board to survive.

Japanese people tend to avoid expressing honest opinions or feelings, which might hurt or offend others. It seems difficult for Westerners to understand this kind of attitude.
The geographical situation of Japan has worked a strong influence on Japanese way of thinking. Since Japan has been a small island country, Japanese people have valued a sense of harmony and togetherness more than self expression to keep peace. And for this the Japanese have been able to live together in small communities peacefully and harmoniously.
Today there is no war in Japan. But there are a lot of wars in the Middle East, because people there are very assertive and would not make a concession. Yet this attitude has not been accepted by other nations.

You are like my brother. He had to file for personal bankruptcy last year. He borrowed a lot of money from many loan shark companies. Loan shark companies are really dangerous. You have to pay back with a lot of interest(more than 30% per ten days). Be careful about loan shark companies. If you can't pay back, they will come to your home and threaten you with a knife or something like that.
Great Britain is a little like that too, though the American influence has made the people here much less reserved than they used to be.
My uncle married a lady from Japan and they have a daughter (my cousin) who can speak both English and Japanese very well, but she has to come over here every now and again to keep in practice with English because she starts to forget it if she doesn't use it for long periods. The general personalities of people have been classified according to their blood types.
People with O type blood are thought to be very sociable and, and aggressive in both work and play. Interestingly, more than 60% of Americans have O type blood, and it is certain that Americans are in general very positive and aggressive. President Bush must be O.
Type A people are good at teamwork and usually try to cooperate with others. But they are also a little shy and very cautious. It's true of many Japanese people. Interestingly enough more than 50% of Japanese people have A type blood.
Type B people are thought to have a very bright personality and are inclined to be chatterboxes. But they are a little unconventional, and don't care about others' criticism. I hear a lot of people in the Middle East have B type blood.
People having AB blood are thought to be creative and to make good leaders. Also the majority of geniuses come from this blood type.
If you have a chance to live in Japan for a while, you will be sometimes asked your blood type. Of course it's a kind of superstition, and not many Japanese believe it, but they will enjoy talking about one's blood type and his /her character. Do you think it's true of your case?

Many shitty threads have been made by Japanese. Now it must be in Japan that the number of the neets is biggest. They try to communicate their frustration to others only by posting some trolls. But their trolls are very different from usual trolls. The characteristics of their troll is that the message itself is meaningless and impossible to understand. In a sense they are mentally sick. They will keep posting meaningless for a long time.
It is no wonder that they cannot be accepted by others in a real life. They must have been spoiled by their parents when they were kids. In a sense they are worthless in not only a real world but also even in jokey message boards. What do they live for?

Self-centered women are by nature masochistic. If you are too kind to her, she will give you more and more hard time, because she want to be scolded or even abused deep in her heart. So make her wear G-string panties and bind her with a rope, and hit her. But of course, just give her a pain but don't inflict a wound on her. Spoiling her is not love but giving a pain is true love.
