I am trying to learn Japanese and I read manga or child's books written in furigana could be a good way to help with that.

I'll start with Yotsuba.

Apart from that, do you have other recommendations for manga and child's books with furigana letters?
It should be:
- easy regarding the language.
- if possible entertaining.

Wild Arms 3-5 for the PS2 have furigana.

Can relate to this, but sadly only 2 of the comments are reasonable to even read, which just shows there is a lot of progranda and contrevesy.

I to, have and happen to want to learn Japanesse and languages as a whole. But... best advices i can give. Read books, talk the language ALOT, the more you do the better.
