i was born and lived for 7 years in switzerland (french-speaking part) then we moved to scotland (can't speak scots, but i'd like to learn to)

english > italian > french > german

Scots is retarded, don't learn scots. It's retarded like "Gaelic". You're taking people who already speak the world's most important language (english) and teaching them gibberish that no one speaks. For the 50 people in ireland that actually spoke gaelic, they should get a clue and join modern society.

my dad's greek my mom's swedish
lived in both countries speak fluently both language as well as english
last 5 years i lived with my mother's grandparents in norway , her father is french so i picked up a 5th language recently , i'm gonna learn spanish soon too , won't be too hard
anyway i just wanted to say that i might have been living like a gipsy all my life and had no real home but still something good came out of it , i speak 5 languages without even trying

born in the Netherlands, learned German from family/tv, English from vidya and books. lived in glorious nippon for a year; learned jap. Lived with girlfriend in Paris for half a year, learn to french (learned it in high school too so had some knowledge) and working my way into Chinese now. Oh and I learned Spanish from a friend which makes 5 I guess, excluding Chinese
