Lojban the logical language

I would like to learn Lojban and was thinking it would be helpful to talk to other enthusiasts interested in learning and using this kind of format for discussion.

I have heard about it, but other than Esperanto I don't really know much about constructed languages.  Interesting though.

Have you learned any other conlangs OP?

I'm thinking like ASL they'd be hard to retain since you'd hardly use them.

Forgot to add in that the problem I have with conglangs (mind you I haven't learned any languages I only know Eng and some Spanish) is from what I read on Wiki about them is that they're all frozen.

All of them had their own goals and went about to achieve them in their own way but usually the original creators die and the languages are never finished.

Is that the case with Lobjan? Or is it still updated by some council?

Do you mean American Sign Language? Out of all languages I have studied, I think I picked up ASL the fastest. While I was actively using it, it was one of the quickest/easiest languages I'd ever studied and I was able to communicate very well. I did "lose" most of it, but I think that's understandable after 6 years of 0 usage. However I'm fully confident that if I got around my deaf friends again, or took a class, I would re-learn it even more rapidly than the first time around. Maybe it's because I have a very visual memory?

Don't change these.
