I'm learning Chinese own my own for the past few months. I'm looking for low elementary level chinese children's novels. IE Harry potter, Narnia, etc. Looking for recomendations and how many hanzi people think would be required to read them. Thanks

Just read the western children's novels translated in Chinese. China doesn't have decent children books except tones of propaganda shit. If you insist, read 郑渊洁's books, he is probably the only one writing real children novel.
