A question

non native english speaker here, this question came in an english test:

A: Is it quiet here in the daytime?
B: Yes, but there is even ___________ noise at night.

a) less
b) too much

I choose(a), but my english teacher says is alternative (b).
That doesn't sound rigth for me, am I wrong?

you are right.  the idea is that daytime is quiet and night is quieter.  "too much" doesn't make sense in this situation, and even if that were the correct answer, it would be grammatically incorrect in that sentence.
