Hi /lang/
I asked /jp/ but they told me to come over here.

I have a predicament that I was hoping you guys could help with.

So my Company is sending me to Taiwan for the next six months, but I have a 3 day layover in Tokyo on the way. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I'm hoping on rolling around Tokyo during the time and see some places that one of my japanese friends from college told me to go visit.

Is there anything I need to do or know before I leave? Are there actions/phrases I need to know and associate myself with before I run around a xenophobic country where Americans are stabbed for no reason?

Thanks

Tokyo is my favorite city, it's always an amazing time whenever I go.  It's also very clean.

If you like @channel culture, Akihabara is certainly a place you should visit.
