I'd personally recommend the New Penguin Russian course. I'm sure it's available on the internet, but it's only like $10 anyway.

It gives you a good base to start from, I feel. After that you should try the Teach Yourself program; it's pretty nice.
There's also a full course that Princeton University put online for free but I haven't tried it.
