Looking to learn Russian.  Was poking around on the imageboards, never realized there was a text board just about languages...

It gives you a good base to start from, I feel. After that you should try the Teach Yourself program; it's pretty nice.

There's also a full course that Princeton University put online for free but I haven't tried it.
