Quick Latin translation resquest

Name: Anonymous 2011-05-01 0:06

Hey all you orangu/lang/s (it was a stretch, but I made it work).

Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone could get me the Latin translation of the phrase "Life is a clean slate."  I assumed it would be something along the lines of "Vite tabula rasa est," but since I've never taken a Latin course in my life, I have no idea how right I am.  I don't trust Google translations, so could someone help a guy out?

this sounds right
3 years of high school Latin and I barely know anything, but from what I know that's correct (or it's similar to what would be correct, I don't know if that's how a Roman would say it)
His translation literally is "life tablet pure is", but Latin had fucked up word order

Cool, thanks, guys.

And I don't know exactly what "rasa" means either, but I'm familiar with John Locke's term "tabula rasa" in philosophy, which is supposed to mean something along the lines of "clean slate,"  hence my guess.
