Why is it so radically different compared to chinese(both cantonese and mandarin) and japanese?
I speak both putonghua and nihongo and wanted to learn some basic Korean phrases I just went NOPE when I saw phrases like

Joh-eum Achim

SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS THIS
I KNOW KOREANS WANT TO BE DIFFERENT BUT IF I WANTED TO LEARN AN AWKWARD LANGUAGE TO SPEAK I´D LEARN ARABIC

Corean is an unique language unrelated to any other language, a gift from Heaven to the Corean people.

cause it's a language isolate
the grammar (not so much the vocabulary) should be easy for a nip speaker

The writing system is impressive considering it was made by an individual.
At least you don't have to learn chinese characters like japanese and chinese.
I'm currently learning nip and it's surprisingly easy.
Korean and japanese have very similar sentence structures.
I would say its worth a try

The fact that it has an alphabet makes it infinitely easier to learn than Chinese or Japanese.

I find myself using Korean phonetics with other languages it's so easy/good.

It's true that you don't have to learn how to write or read Chinese characters when you study Korean language, but in my opinion, you should know them.
Most of Korean vocabularies are composed of Sino-Korean morphemes, which can be wrote in Chinese characters, and they often correspond to modern Chinese morphemes or Sino-Japanese morphemes regularly.

Don't change these.
