What languages to "kinda" learn?

In your opinion, what would be a good spread of ~5 languages to have a smattering of knowledge in, and why?

A "smattering" meaning basic literacy and some simple conversational ability.

This is all just opinion, of course. We all lead different lives and have different reasons for learning.

We should get rid of all arabs, no need to learn their stupid language and make them think they are important in this world!!!
